This appears to be an oriental cockroach nymph. Couple of questions..... Did you only find the one? Was it alive. Has your husband been living in the house? Have you had any uninvited guests from the mid-west recently esp Missouri? If you answer yes to any of these - no need to be grossed out but I would suggest putting a sticky trap or two around in the house (esp bath and kitchen under sink) just to see what you have there. Perhaps you should have me come down to lend a professional hand ??????
