My sunbeam lesson today is being thankful for birds and insects. In the lesson manual it suggests singing the Eeency Weency Spider song (as opposed to the Itsy Bitsy Spider song). Looks like the Gibb kids were taught correctly!!
Easton received a toy for Christmas from Grandma and Grandpa made by Fisher Price which sings the spider song. It says "itsy bitsy spider." So who is right the church or a company that specializes in children's toys.
We had a similar debate in our house over the lyrics to "Pop goes the Weasel". What is the monkey chasing the weasel around? A) the cobblers bench B) the mulberry bush C) the dead rats floating in the subway on the way to work this morning.

My wife failed to mention that Easton also has a book that calls it the "eensy weensy" spider.
in our home, we have three votes for "B" the mulberry bush.
although D) "the crazy person poop on the sidewalk in Harlem" would also fit.
I vote Mulberry Bush.. However i have heard some old people sing Cobblers Bench, But then again old people might also vote for Ry's pick..
